Sibling "Love"

Hey readers! We sisters have decided to begin splitting the posts in half so you can see both perspectives in each post. Who do you think was right about the watering hole issue? VOTE! Please give us your opinions, and let us know if you think the idea is rad or bad. :) Let's begin!

Fallupy (the superior author)

As y'all are well aware, I have a younger sister. Unfortunately. And yes, I know, it's not actually unfortunate that I have a younger sister...it's just that it can seem that way during some particularly trying moments we share together. For example, let's take the watering hole in the savannah. There are two watering holes, right? Both are exactly the same- same temperature, same water pressure, etc. Yet, somehow, it always seems that when the time comes about when I need to...you know... cleanse myself (which is fairly often, considering I live in the savannah), if I pick a certain watering hole, she decides to pick the exact same one. And so then I graciously step back and allow her to use it, but on my way to the other watering hole, she hurriedly gallops over and annoyingly announces that she has changed her mind and would wish to use this watering hole. Well, thanks Guppy. I'm happy that you're satisfied with your choice of watering hole. And she does this the hole time! (no pun intended...no actually that pun was intended).

I'm kidding, of course. I'm incredibly lucky to have Guppy as a sister. As you guys probably already know, Guppy is the most positive person I know (she positively is...wow, I am on FIRE today!). No, seriously. It's like she's hyped up on coffee 24/7 (are giraffes even allowed to drink caffeine...?) So anyways, if I storm home whimpering and complaining about a bad day, she will perkily approach me and explain optimistically, "It's okay, Fallupy. That just means tomorrow will seem better by comparison." And by this point I'm pretty sure you guys are gushing and "Awww!"ing all over the place. It's okay. I do that sometimes too :)

So, in conclusion (wow, I got really off-topic there...), I'm really happy Guppy's my sister, even though she does giraffe me crazy sometimes (drive me crazy, get it? Ahhh...the "hole" one was better...) And I have to give it to her, she is koala-fied to give good advice. I guess we do have some great sisters in our neck of the woods (there are more where that came from (: ).

Okay, I'm going to hand over the post to Guppy before the puns get out of hand. See you guys next time...in the meantime, GO GIRAFFES!!! :)

Whoops! The one that is falling is Guppy, by the way. Oh, and the rude zebra is our neighbor.

Guppy (the alpha-giraffe)

Hahahahaha! Fallupy made a mistake in allowing me to write and edit the final draft. I am truly the superior giraffe...I am going to have some fun with this one! :)

My sister is a real nag sometimes. First off, she is not very generous. So, there are two watering holes, right? And one is much more cooler and overflowing with general coolness 'cause it's just cool like that, you know? As I ease my self into the soothing water of the cool pool for once, since Fallupy always hogs the wonderful wonder that it is, I hear Fallupy scoffing and gabbing about how amazingly awesome the other pool is. Now, being the observant giraffe that I am, I take the hint. She is just a jealous green-eyed monster, and cannot stand the fact that I am getting the awesome watering hole of awesomenes, and is envious of the fact that I am the alpha-giraffe. Yet, being an empathetic giraffe, I give up and begin trotting over to the lame pool. But the second I get there, Fallupy makes a beeline for the better hole and splashes around, without apologizing or thanking me. So, being a fair giraffe, I trot over to the other pool and demand an apology. But no, she refuses and showers cleanses herself.

You gotta admit, my sister is pretty awesome and stuff, being the writer of the family and the responsible one. It is just that sometimes, she can get on my nerves. Nevertheless, I love her to pieces and I am glad to have her as my sister. But I do not appreciate her jokes about me being hyper and on a permanent sugar high. If you had to hear her crack bad jokes and terrible puns all day, you would be pretty hyper too. But I did enjoy the one about the koala.

You know, I had a friend, Kimmy the Koala, and she was pretty wise. She gave me lots of advice about how to deal with Sammy the Squirell because-oh! Sorry! My sister is nagging again! Bye! Sianara! Adios! Ciao!

Giraffe Rebels

My giraffe sister is constantly nagging at me and pestering me. She is so annoying. That is what teenage giraffes are like. They want to live life on the limb and be rebellious. The other day, I saw a giraffe with a giraffe Mohawk! How cray-cray is that? Take a look:

i

See it? Right along his neck. How rebellious can you get?

Keep Posted for More Posts! (hahahaha...see what I did there?)

Hey, y'all! Giraffe sistas in da house! (yeah, the whole "street" thing doesn't work for us...maybe we should just stick with the "giraffe" thing...) Thank you for visiting our crazy site (innergiraffe.blogspot.com) and accepting our crazy giraffe-ness. Now, I know this may sound shocking to you (it certainly sounds quite shocking to us) but there are some people out there who are skeptical that a pair of giraffes can pull off running and managing a blog like this one. I know, right? Could you get more discriminatory towards giraffes? They're just jealous of our long, lustrous necks. Meh. Anyways, we value your opinion and would really appreciate if you guys could leave feedback pertaining to the site's content and let us know what you want to see on this blog, as we live in the grasslands and don't really know what is hip and happening with today's younger generation (is the phrase "hip and happening" still current?) Now, you might notice a thing or two about this site's content: there isn't any. Bear with us, we are still working out some technical difficulties and believe it or not, we actually have to attend school as well. Bummer. But we promise to keep this blog running to the best our best of our abilities and will try to post more stuff in the future. You have our giraffe word :) Giraffe sisters out (for now)!
